Barbara Monteleone was a vibrant, soulful,
and giving person. We were fortunate that she was a part of
OCVH for more than five years. Always the first at the hospital
early in the morning to lovingly care for hercharges, Barbara
welcomed everyone with a smile and her southern drawl. No one
ever had to worry about their dog or cat staying at the OCVH
kennel when Barbara

was on watch. In fact, Barbaraonly worked so
she could interact with the animals and the people. She warmly cared
for each pet not only for their physical needs but also for their
social well being.
|
|
|
Barbara was not just a staff member, she was
a friend. We will continue to miss her playfulness and the way she
made us smile.
|
|
|
In the fall of 2010, construction will begin
for “Barbara’s Garden” on the Orange County Veterinary
Hospital grounds. The garden will be for our patients and guests
to enjoy, in memory of Barbara Monteleone.
